  • Understanding of Nature-Based Therapy

Ecotherapy, counselling, and forest bathing sessions involve engaging in outdoor experiences such as walking, sitting, meditation, and mindful awareness in natural environments (including forests, hills, uneven floors, ever-changing weather conditions, and open spaces).

These sessions may vary in pace, intensity, and duration depending on people’s needs and the intentions of the session. I understand that this approach may differ from traditional indoor therapy and may involve silence, sensory awareness, and nature-based practices to support emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and self-discovery.

Please email me with any questions, special requests or accessibility.

Nature belongs to everyone and we want to make this space welcoming for you.

  • Forest Bathing, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, is a gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect with nature through your senses. It is not about hiking, fitness, or reaching a destination. There is no goal, no performance, no pressure. Instead, you are guided to walk slowly, breathe deeply, and notice what is already here in the forest, under the trees.

Through simple practices like mindful walking, guided meditation, quiet observation, journaling, and contemplation, your nervous system begins to settle. The mind softens. The body unwinds. Your heartbeat slows. Your anxiety isn't here anymore. Your stress is gone. You feel nourished and connected. You belong here. On Earth. Forest Bathing offers space to rest, reflect, and simply be held by the natural world.

In a time where life moves fast and demands so much, this practice becomes a powerful pause… a return to something ancient, steady, and deeply nourishing within and around you.

I invite you to visit the tab called “Forest Bathing” to find out more information about this gentle practice.

    A gentle note

Most of my offerings are not a hike, but we will be walking slowly and spending time outdoors.
Expect uneven ground, natural surfaces, and moments of stillness.

    You don’t need any experience.

This is about you: your needs, your pace, your abilities.

If you have limited mobility or use a wheelchair, please feel free to email me before booking so we can explore how to best support your experience in the forest. We can always work together to make my offerings accessible and inclusive to your needs and abilities.

  • Sarah Frustié Therapy does not offer refunds for group experiences, including forest bathing, sacred forest immersion, and nature retreats.

If you are unable to attend due to an unforeseen emergency, please email me as soon as possible. In these situations, I will do my best to offer a reschedule where possible.

Please do not attend an event if you are feeling unwell or have COVID symptoms. If you cannot attend due to sickness, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling options in line with the current policy.

My intention is for you to still have the opportunity to experience the forest.

Please note that sessions may be cancelled or postponed if minimum numbers are not met, or if conditions in the forest are unsafe (including bushfire risk or extreme weather: high winds, extreme heat (36℃+).

In these cases, you will be offered the option to reschedule for another session.

  • Forest Bathing & Ecotherapy - Important Information, Consent Form & Waiver

Before each event (1:1 sessions, forest bathing and nature retreat), I will gently send a consent form and waiver to give you more information about nature-based therapy, what forest bathing is, photography and social media consent, foods and allergies, confidentiality, what happens in case of an emergency, accessibility, etc.

My main goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and held, supporting your comfort, needs and safety.
